Femi Kuti Set To Perform At Hollywood Bowl 100th Anniversary | See Details


Afrobeat singer, Femi Kuti, will be performing at the 2022 Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, United States.

The Hollywood Bowl, a Los Angeles landmark event, will be celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The event is scheduled to run through June, July, August and September 2022. According to reports, the event will feature jazz, pop, and classical concerts, Fourth of July fireworks, as well as film screenings with live orchestral accompaniment.

Femi Kuti and the Postive Force will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival on June 25 and 26, alongside heavyweights like The Roots, Christian Scott, and others.

He made it known on his Instagram page on Tuesday.

He wrote,

"L.A.! I'M VERY HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT MY BAND AND I ARE COMING TO THE BOWL ON THE 26TH OF JUNE2022. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE."

The international star has received six Grammy nominations for his music. He began his music career by playing in his fathers band 'Egypt 80'. In 1986, Femi started his own band 'Positive Force'.
